The RTI Mora Compact V2 Gen 2 gives Southern California shooters the full Mora platform in its most manageable configuration.

At only 30.9 inches overall, the Compact uses a 500mm barrel and 500cc carbon fiber bottle while retaining the 125cc plenum, adjustable regulation, assisted valve system and external tuning capability that make the Mora different from conventional PCP air rifles.

The .25 provides an excellent balance of projectile weight, air consumption and overall performance. For many Mora Compact buyers, this is the most versatile caliber.

Choked Lothar Walther barrel with a 1:16 twist rate.

The .30 is intended for shooters who prefer heavier projectiles and greater retained energy and are willing to trade some air efficiency and magazine capacity for projectile mass.

BUILT TO BE TUNED

The Mora is not limited to a simple power wheel.

Regulated pressure and valve dwell can be adjusted to match the rifle to a specific pellet or slug. The objective is not simply maximum velocity. A proper Mora tune balances projectile speed, consistency, accuracy and air consumption.

The 125cc plenum gives the platform substantial regulated air volume, while the assisted valve system allows air delivery to be controlled for different calibers and projectile weights.

Once the rifle is properly tuned for the ammunition you intend to use, there is no reason to constantly change the settings.

PELLETS AND SLUGS

The Mora Compact is designed to use both conventional airgun pellets and modern airgun slugs.

Maximum projectile length in the magazine is approximately 22mm.

Projectiles up to approximately 25mm can be individually loaded.

Projectile diameter, weight, shape and velocity all affect accuracy. Simply fitting inside the magazine does not guarantee that a particular slug will perform well in a specific barrel.

The Mora Compact is offered by Airgun West in .22, .25 and .30 caliber. All three use the same compact 500mm barrel format and 500cc carbon fiber bottle, but each caliber has a different personality. Projectile weight, magazine capacity, air consumption and intended shooting distance should determine your choice.

RTI Mora Compact .22 Caliber

The .22 Mora Compact uses an RTI RPB barrel with a light choke and 1:16 twist. Magazine capacity is 19 rounds, the largest of the three Compact configurations.

The .30 Mora Compact uses a choked Lothar Walther barrel with a 1:16 twist. Magazine capacity is 13 rounds.

Is the RTI Mora Compact a lightweight air rifle?

No. Compact refers primarily to overall length. The rifle weighs approximately 9 pounds before adding a scope and accessories. The advantage is that the rifle is only about 30.9 inches long, making it easier to transport and handle than the longer Mora configurations.

Which Mora Compact caliber should I choose?

Choose .22 when magazine capacity, efficiency and ammunition selection matter most. Choose .25 when you want the strongest overall balance of projectile weight and air consumption. Choose .30 when heavier projectiles and retained energy are more important than maximum shot count.

Can the Mora Compact shoot pellets and slugs?

Yes. All three configurations can use pellets and airgun slugs. The .22 and .25 versions use RTI RPB barrels. The .30 uses a choked Lothar Walther barrel. Individual projectile diameter, weight, length and velocity still determine how accurately a particular rifle will shoot it.

What is the maximum projectile length?

How many shots will I get from the 500cc bottle?

There is no honest universal answer. Shot count changes significantly with caliber, regulator pressure, valve dwell, projectile weight and velocity. A moderate .22 pellet tune will use much less air than an aggressive .30 slug tune.

Is the Compact less powerful than the Standard Mora?

The Compact uses the same basic 125cc plenum and adjustable Mora air system, but it has a shorter 500mm barrel. Barrel length influences how efficiently expanding air accelerates the projectile. Choose between Compact and Standard based on the complete shooting setup rather than one claimed power number.

What is the maximum fill pressure?

The published maximum is 300 bar, approximately 4,350 PSI. The rifle does not need to be filled to 300 bar every time it is used.

What filling connection does the Mora use?

The Mora Compact uses a standard Foster-style charging connection. Filling equipment must be rated for the pressure being used.

Does the Mora Compact include a moderator?

Yes. The package includes an RTI Hušh 50 carbon moderator. Use must comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Does the rifle include a scope?

No. Scope and rings are purchased separately so the optic can be selected around the intended range, projectile and shooting application.

Can the magazine load from either side?

Yes. The magazine configuration can be reversed to accommodate right-side or left-side loading.

Can the Mora Compact be converted to another caliber?

Yes. The correct RTI barrel, probe, magazine and related caliber components are required. The rifle must then be retuned for the new caliber and projectile.

What comes with the Mora Compact?
