The Leap is the strongest Aimpoint PRO Quick-Detach mount we've ever tested.

We mounted a variety of QD mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force and analyzed load-versus-displacement data for each. We then used everything we learned from these tests to refine our original design, culminating in the Leap, a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.

Here at Edgun West, we have found another use for the Leap 02. The March 1-10 Shorty is compact; a traditional mount will not fit. We searched for the lightest, most secure, and smallest profile mount on the market. The Scalarworks Leap 02 works perfectly. The broader "one ring" from the Leap 02 holds the March Shorty as securely as any two-ring mount we tested. We placed the March Shorty with the Leap 02 mount onto an FN SCAR-17; after 4000 rounds, there was zero POI change. The Leap 02 is not only the perfect Aimpoint PRO mount, but it is also the ideal match for the one-of-a-kind March 1-10 Shorty.
